Tuesday November 11
The classrooms that our team of volunteers helped to build at Sukla Ghandaki Schoo, Nepall in April 2011 are nearing completion. Here are the latest photos and update received from Nepal:

" There is still some work to be done, window glass and security bars on some windows, plus staircase to be made in Pokhara and assembled on site. We are hoping we may be able to afford a roof over the stairway to protect from the rains.
We will need to get a specialist to advise on wiring/plugs/fittings for the computer room.
The original classrooms on the ground floor of the building- sand and cement are already on site and the school / village will repair the walkway and also paint doors and windows in line with the new colours. The school will also have to put the interiors of these two rooms back in order. The headmaster will begin to interview prospective candidates for two new teaching roles in November. Already we have 50 students ( 28 girls and 22 boys) in the new class 11 and 25 students in the new class 12."
